TASK:  To create a “Tulip” wax painting  to be given by a Gallery owner to his wife as a gift. The client’s wife favours Red, and Queen of the Night, Tulips.  The Client left the composition to me.  I created three paintings in wax with a view to suggesting that the Client should choose which one he felt his wife would be most pleased with.  On viewing the pieces, the client decided to take all three wax paintings!  I was delighted.

Cornflowers and Umbellifers

TASK:  The Client had seen a specific painting on my website, but unfortunately, before they were able to contact me, the painting had been sold.  I offered to do them a similar painting, using a similar composition and colour scheme.  They were delighted with the result.  The client collected it whilst visiting the UK for a vacation.  It now has pride of place in their lounge in New Zealand.

CLIENT COMMENT:

Task:  To create a picture of linaria purpurea similar to a picture that had been sold. 

 

Client response:  The client was so pleased that she bought the commissioned painting and a second painting also.  She now has 3 paintings in total.
